Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA)

GPC provided consulting and project management support to the GISTEC Team for the development of an Emirate-wide enterprise GIS database and application software system for managing water and electrical utility infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. This $14M, 12 month fast-track project is one of the most comprehensive and aggressive utility enterprise system ever undertaken anywhere in the world. GPC's role was to perform a project situation analysis, and to assist several team leaders in the development of a comprehensive project management framework for planning and conducting the work. GPC also worked with the Client project management team to explain the plan, and areas that client staff would need to address to support the on-time and on-budget completion of the project.
