ESPRIT² is a research group dedicated to the application of GIS and related technologies to urban planning, resource management and disaster management issues in Japan and abroad. Headed by Dr. Suminao Murakami, the organization is an outgrowth of a research laboratory that was founded by Dr. Murakami at Yokohama National University in Yokohama, Japan.
